I finished my advanced copy of Corinne Michaels and Melanie Harlows Imperfect match and what a great read it was! It’s a best friends to lovers book you need to read! Reid and Willow’s friendship was perfect, lots of sarcasm and ribbing. To watch them go from best friend kind of love to romantic love was amazing. They truly are the perfect couple. You are going to fall in love with Reid as soon as you meet him. He’s tall, dark and handsome and he’s italian, can it get any better than that? Willow is not my favorite heroine but she’s perfect for Reid, and I loved watching her figure it out!
This book has it all; humor, sexy times, heartache and passion to name a few. I really connected with these two characters because my husband is my best friend. He’s the first person I want to run to when I have big news and the first person I want when I’m feeling blue. Like Reid is with Willow, my husband knows how to make me smile and forget what was troubling me. Corrine and Melanie portrayed that feeling perfectly in this book.
I’m always nervous to read co-writes because you have two different authors writing styles that have to blend together into 1 but these two do it so seamlessly. I loved this book and can’t wait to read it again and again!
