Book Review ~ Diary of a Bad Boy by Meghan Quinn

I received an ARC of Diary of a Bad Boy by Meghan Quinn and I have to say this is the best book I’ve read in 2019. It makes you laugh out loud, iit makes you cry and it makes you swoon, all things in a great romance book. The hero, Roark, is your typical bad boy. Add in the Irish accent and you’ve got swoon material. He has many problems, one of the biggest is his temper. He can fly off the handle quick and is often getting into fights. Our heroin, Sutton, is your typical good girl. She’s never out past 9, very easy going about life, the complete opposite to Roark. They meet in a place you would not expect and end up communicating with each other when their friends each accidentally grab the others phone. It’s quite the funny story.
This book had me engaged from the beginning and it had nothing to do with Roark’s Irish accent. The trouble and hoops that Roark put Sutton through to get her phone back and what Sutton ended up having to do to get it back had me on the edge of my seat, I couldn’t and didn’t want to put the book down. From there this amazing relationship began to blossom in front of our eyes and Roark being the typical bad boy would not give in to the feelings he was feeling for Sutton and kept pushing her away when she started to get too close so when they finally gave in and got together it was perfect. This book was definitely a 5 star read, I was disappointed when the story finally ended because I couldn’t get enough of this amazing couple.
